Noah Jansen and Emily Broersma are excited to announce their June 25 engagement! Noah is the son of Andrew and Cristie Jansen of HS Jansen & Sons Farm Ltd. in Armstrong, BC. Emily is the daughter of Dean and Sharla Broersma of Sunnyside, Washington. Their wedding will take place in May of 2024 in Sunnyside, Washington.
Alex and Molly Lemley are excited to announce the arrival of their son, Elijah Wayne, born August 13th, weighing 7lb 11oz. Eli is the eleventh grandchild for Gary and Lisa Keis of Kenmarank Farms in Matsqui, and the first grandchild for Ryan and the late Carole Lemley of Langley.
Introducing the newest member of the de Dood family: Carson Henri James de Dood was born August 21, 2023 at 6:29AM weighing 7lbs. 5oz. Carson is the first born son to Jenessa and Jared de Dood. He is the first grandchild to Rhonda Zappone (Grandma) and Mike Zappone (Grandpa) and the ninth grandchild for John and June de Dood of Sunninghill Holsteins, Grindrod. He is a healthy, happy boy who will be raised on tractors, loaders and dump trucks - sounds like a little boy’s dream!
Theo and Brenda Stoker of Melinke Farms in Deroche and Andrew and Arlene Leffers of Houston, BC are excited to announce the marriage of their children, Jodie and Ryan. They were married September 1 at Immanuel Covenant Reformed Church in Abbotsford, with the reception held at Melinke Farms. After a honeymoon in Cancun, the couple have settled in Deroche. Jodie will continue to work at Lactanet and Melinke Farms, and Ryan is a realtor with the Leffers and Rook Real Estate Group, working throughout the Fraser Valley.
Amy Brunoro and Wesley Treadwell are joyful to announce the arrival of their first-born daughter, Jane Marjorie Treadwell. Born September 30th, weighing 7lbs 6oz, Jane is the 14th grandchild of the dairy farming family Brunoro Farms in Langley, BC.
Ian and Brianne Porter (Porter’s Dairy Ltd., Chemainus, BC) and family, along with the Bishop-Lawrey families are proud to announce the engagement of their son Marshall Porter and Arianna Bishop-Lawrey! The wedding will take place on beautiful Vancouver Island on the family’s farm in August 2024.
New parents Noah Driessen and Mikayla Jackman are excited to announce the birth of their new baby boy, Kane William Driessen on August 23, 2023. Proud grandparents are Ben and Tracy Driessen (Driessen Farms, Deroche) and Lisa Payne (Mission). He will join his many cousins on the farm. Kane is great- grandchild number 68 for Peter Driessen, who celebrated his 98th birthday this July.
