Our dairy achievement day was September 23 at the Agassiz Fair. Pictured is Judge Carl Barclay, Leader Debbie Frose, Alyssa Vander Kooi, Chloe Vander Kooi and Ken Schwaerzle.
Our club had a great year, and we are proud of all our members for representing 4-H so well! This year we attended the Maple Ridge Fair, Chilliwack Fair, PNE and Agassiz Fair. We were able to work together and have fun. Our awards night was held in November to conclude and celebrate the 2023 4-H year. We would also like to thank our sponsors for making this year possible.

Our club met on October 20th for our year-end awards. We celebrated a fun year of 4-H and honoured our members’ achievements.
We said THANK YOU to Mrs. Anita Postma for all her years of co-leading our club and her other activities with 4-H in our district!
Thank you to our leader, Megan Kampman for organizing and leading us this year. Thank you to all our sponsors for the prizes and support. Congratulations to all those moving on the District Awards, and we look forward to having a lot of fun again in 2024!

SUMAS HOLSTEIN 4-H CLUB
The Richmond Delta 4-H club had a great time at our end-of-year banquet in November. We had our club achievement show in September. The winners for showmanship are: Reserve Champion, Chloe Miller and Grand Champion, Leila Krische. The winners for calf placings are: Reserve Champion, Leila Krische and Grand Champion, Chloe Miller. Our club has made a lot of memories this past year and we are excited to begin the process of calf picking for the next 4-H season.

That’s a wrap for the 2023 4-H Year!
Sumas Holstein has had a very fun-filled and successful year. The final fair that the club attended was Agassiz Fall Fair. This was a great fair for our members who attended. The Sumas club did very well at this fair with Dominic Hill placing Reserve Grand Champion Showman, Kayla Schurmann was Champion Junior Showman, Kylie Luymes was Reserve Champion Junior Showman, Kaycee Meier had the Champion Calf and Kylie Luymes, the Reserve Champion Calf. Thank you to the judge, Carl Barclay, for a great competition.
Our club celebrated our club awards night on October 27. We had a large club of 23 members, so we have a long list of winners for the year:
